A mobile cyclone collector for aluminium swarf. The cyclone drops heavier chips straight into the collection drum before they reach the filter, so the cartridge stays clear for longer and needs servicing less often. The unit is mounted on castors so it can be moved around the factory if required.

Cyclone swarf collector with cartridge filter and collection drum.
Swarf is drawn through the inlet into the cyclone, which spins the heavier material out to the collection drum below. Only the fine remainder reaches the cartridge filter, which keeps filter loading — and the cleaning that comes with it — well down. The whole unit sits on a castored frame so it can be wheeled to whichever machine needs it.
